Dublin Council of Churches (DCC) Opening Prayer Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity hosted by Dublin St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church (Ireland) on Sunday 18 January 2026.![]()
The service was led by Archbishop Michael Jackson (Church of Ireland), Archbishop Dermot Farrel (Roman Catholic Church), Bishop Hovakim Manukyan (Armenian Apostolic Church), Bishop Nectarie Petre (Romanian Orthodox Church), along with several clergy and leaders of the Greek and Indian Orthodox Churches as well as the Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist and Salvation Army. The service, drafted by the Faith and Order Commission of the WCC was themed upon Ephesians 4:4.
St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, Dublin, Ireland joyfully celebrated the Feast of Danaha (Epiphany). The Holy Qurbana was led by the chief celebrant, Rev. Fr. Ninan P. Kuriakose, together with the parish vicar, Rev. Fr. Stanley David James, and Rev. Fr. Jijo Thomas Rajan . The celebration was marked with great devotion and spiritual joy as the faithful came together to commemorate the Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ.
